
There was another thing that caught my eye during the review of the Town’s June report on finances. It has to do with insurance. Here’s what the report indicates.
Spent to June 30, 2012 $564,675.76
Budget for the year $497,450.00
Forecast for the year $$516,576.00
Do you really think that the Town is going to get a refund of over $48,000 that they would need to get to meet the forecast? I guess someone ‘Gapped’ this one.
Sorry but that report to Council isn’t worth the paper it is printed on. Oh sorry, they aren’t printed anymore. There is no cost. There is no value!
