Another Local Company Finds Itself In Trouble

I am saddened to hear that another local employer has fallen on tough times. I particularly feel for the hardworking employees and those local suppliers that may never see payment of amounts owed to them.

I’ve seen this so many times where the owners continue to buy toys and spend money that should have been kept to satisfy debts with suppliers and the authorities such as CRA. Toys can be bought only after you pay both the corporate taxes and the personal income taxes.

Let’s hope it not too late for the workers to catch on elsewhere before the winter or there may be another housing glut in the area as workers are forced to move. Maybe one of the multi-nationals will pick up the pieces.

I think the Golf Club Road people may be celebrating this weekend.
